The Judging criteria is split into 3 categories:

Business Model (15%)

Can this idea make money? Is there positive customer growth or revenue? Is there a customer acquisition / rollout strategy? Did the team identify their market? Has a revenue model been defined and is it realistic? Is the idea/team ready for capital and execution? Would you invest in this company at this point?

Did the team identify customers (demographic, location etc)? Did the team get out and talk to customers? What is the value proposition to customers? What channels of communication are used? Product/Market fit? Did they get a paying customer/sign a deal? Did they find a partner?

MVP/Prototype (50%)

Business Perspective

Does the MVP express well their solution for the problem? Would people use it? Did they build their MVP with their customer in mind? Is it memorable? Does the project have appropriate graphics? Is it intuitive and easy to use? Do you like how the project is structured, from a user’s point of view?

Technical perspective

Does the project meet its goals? Can it be used by everyone? Does it work properly? Does it have enough working features? Are the features implemented the ones that define this project.

Does the team uses appropriate technologies / frameworks? Is it simple to setup or get it running? Are the system requirements appropriate? Did the team build with scalability in mind? Does it work in my browser/device?

Pitch Presentation (10%)

Was the idea well delivered? Did the team convince you about how awesome their project is? This is about rating the quality of the presentation in the perspective of an investor/expert.

Design (25%)

How well has the product been designed from a user experience perspective? Does it flow well? Is it simple and easy to understand? Is the user interface modern and practical?
